Boundaries: The southernmost riding on the eastern half of Winnipeg, Seine River is bordered by Red River the west and the parkway to the east. West of Dakota Street, the northern boundaries are Warde and Burland Avenue, but east of Dakota, the northern boundary is Meadowood Drive.
Last Election: Oswald, who narrowly lost to Selinger in last year’s NDP leadership convention, defeated PC challenger Gord Steeves by over 900 votes, 53-44 per cent.
History: Oswald has held the riding for 13 years, but prior to that the MLA was PC politician (and former Speaker) Louise Dacquay from 1990 to 2003.
