WINNIPEG — Family and friends of Thelma Krull are renewing the search for the missing 58-year-old grandmother.

Dozens of people met in North Kildonan to pick-up and distribute new missing posters.

“Somebody out there knows something … we’re suffering here and we just want answers,” said Krull’s husband Robert, who was handing out the new posters.

He’s hoping the attention to her case will bring their family some kind of closure.

“The family needs to grieve if that’s what’s happened, if she is deceased. I haven’t given up hope, we haven’t given up hope,” said Krull.

“It’s our job to remind them that Thelma is still missing and she’s still out there and we want to bring her home,” said Connie Muscat, one of the poster campaign organizers.

Winnipeg Police say the investigation into Krull’s disappearance is still open.

Like her family, they believe there are people out there who know something about her disappearance and want them to come forward.

Krull went missing in July of last year when she left her home in North Kildonan for a morning walk.
