PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Reid Gardiner scored a hat trick to lead the Prince Albert Raiders past the Saskatoon Blades 6-4 on Friday night in Western Hockey League (WHL) action. Jesse Lees added a goal and three assists for the Raiders (38-25-8).
Kolten Olynek and Luke Coleman also chipped in.

Wyatt Sloboshan had a pair of goals for Saskatoon (25-42-4), which dropped its sixth game in a row. Mason McCarty and Connor Gay rounded out the attack.
Ian Scott picked up the win in net after stopping all 10 shots he faced in 30:22. Rylan Parenteau started for Prince Albert and turned away 9-of-13 shots in 29:38. Brock Hamm made 39 saves in defeat.
The Raiders were 2 for 5 on the power play while Saskatoon scored once on five chances.
