2016 Regina Folk Festival lineup revealed

REGINA – The 2016 Regina Folk Festival has revealed its lineup for the 47th edition of the three-day music festival.

Fan favourite The Sam Roberts Band will be gracing the stage at Victoria Park this year. The Montreal-based rock band has just recorded their fifth studio album.

Ry Cooder, Sharon White and Ricky Skaggs will come together to bring Regina music fans a blend of blues, gospel and bluegrass.

There is no shortage of Saskatchewan talent on the bill – Megan Nash and Nick Faye and the Deputies are among the other local/provincial performers.

Other notable artists include The Mavericks, The Head and The Heart and Bobby Bazini.

The 2016 Regina Folk Festival will take place in Victoria Park from August 5-7.
