Investigators with the Halifax Regional Police are looking for the driver of a silver Ford Escape after it left the scene of an accident early Saturday morning.
Shortly before 1:30 a.m., police were called to the intersection of Barrington Street and Salter Street after a woman was struck by an SUV. Officers say the driver of the vehicle sped away from the scene without stopping following the collision.
The 29-year-old victim was transported by EHS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact Halifax Regional Police.
