The Canadian Cancer Society is teaming up with the Calgary Fire Department to hopefully set a new world record.
The goal is to shave at least 268 heads at exactly the same time. The old Guinness World Record was set by police officers in Peterborough, Ont. in May 2015.
Right now the group has 300 people who are willing to lose their locks, but they need more shavers with clippers in order to make that happen.
The event is happening March 12 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fire Training Academy at 5727-23 Ave. S.E.
