WINNIPEG — A 52-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed in her East Kildonan home Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the women answered a knock as her door on Stacey Bay, when two men assaulted her and threatened her son, who was not home at the time. The men also demanded cash.

The woman was eventually able to get to the phone and call 911, at which time the suspects ran off.
