One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Richmond on Sunday.
Crews responded to Westminster Highway near Nelson Road. Witnesses say the vehicle hit a pole and the impact of the collision brought down some wires.
The driver died at the scene.
There is no word on the cause of the crash.
This crash comes after two women were killed in an accident east of Vernon on Sunday.
In total, five young people were killed in single-vehicle crashes in B.C. from Friday morning to Sunday morning – two near Vernon, two in Cranbrook, and one in Mission.
