Vancouver Police blocked off a downtown street on Wednesday morning to deal with a potential explosive device found in a vehicle.
The device was found by police after a traffic stop on Beatty Street near Dunsmuir Street.
The VPD Emergency Response Team with the Explosive Disposal Unit were on the scene and eventually determined the suspicious item was not a bomb and posed no threat to the public.
