Employee shot dead in parking lot of his Guelph hotel

Police say a 35-year-old man has died after being shot in the parking lot of the Guelph, Ont., hotel where he worked.

Police say they responded to a call around 4:39 p.m. Tuesday and found Aly Sunderani suffering from gunshot wounds near the front entrance of the Comfort Inn Hotel.

He was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries.

Police believe the shooting was targeted.

They’re looking for a small black SUV seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting.

Investigators are also asking anyone with video recording of the incident to contact them.
