A presentation at the Geneva Motor Show by a board member of the German carmaker Volkswagen was briefly interrupted by a lone protester on Tuesday.

During a speech by Jurgen Stackmann, who is the board member for sales at VW, a man dressed in a VW uniform is seen coming onto stage and saying he was sent by the company’s chief executive to fix the car’s engine, alluding to VW’s emissions scandal.

The man was immediately escorted out of the room by security.

US environmental authorities are suing Volkswagen over some 600,000 cars with diesel engines the company equipped with software to cheat on emissions testing.

The company has apologised for the scandal that erupted in September 2015 and vowed to fix the cars.
