Ride for Dad rides through the Okanagan

 Hundreds of motorcyclists took to the road Sunday morning for the annual Ride for Dad event in the Okanagan.

The motorcyclists began the ride in Kelowna and traveled down south to Penticton, Osoyoos and Keremeos before returning to the Central Okanagan.

This is the fourth time the event has taken place in the valley.

The event raises money and awareness about prostate cancer, which is now the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Canadian men and the second most common cause of death from cancer in men.

Ride for Dad started 12 years ago in Ottawa. It has since grown to 30 cities across the nation and has raised a total of $9 million.
