CALGARY – American rider Kent Farrington finished a clean jump off in a time of 38.98 seconds to win the $200,000 CN Reliability World Cup Grand Prix equestrian event on Saturday.
The event was part of the Spruce Meadows “National” series.

“Jumping in this ring really suits my horse,” said Farrington, who rode Uceko, an 11-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding. “With the big ring, he is really able to let himself go, and get up to speed.”
Olympic champion Eric Lamaze of Schomberg, Ont., was second, riding Derly Chin De Muze.
Ireland’s Darragh Kerins was third.
Earlier Saturday, Canadian-born American rider Mario Deslauriers won the $60,000 TransCanada Parcours de Chasse.
