WINNIPEG – A fire in a two-storey house at McDermot Ave and Juno St has claimed the life of one person.
Firefighters received the call at around 7:41 p.m. on Friday evening.

They were able to bring the fire under control and rescue three people including one child, according to the union representing Winnipeg firefighters.
The extent of the damage and the cause of the fire are still under investigation.
