A rainfall warning has been issued for the Southern Interior.
According to Environment Canada, up to 40 mm of rain is expected through Saturday for the Shuswap, North Okanagan, Central Okanagan and South Okanagan.

The forecast says an upper low remains over the southern part of the province. The upper low is expected to move east and weaken by Saturday afternoon.
