Eskimos sign veteran receiver Getzlaf

EDMONTON – The Edmonton Eskimos signed veteran free-agent receiver Chris Getzlaf on Thursday.

The six-foot 200-pound Getzlaf was originally drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2007 but went on to spend eight seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Getzlaf, 33, from Regina, had 368 catches for 5,694 yards and 37 TDs with Saskatchewan, winning two Grey Cups.

He appeared in 10 games last season, registering 33 catches for 402 yards and four touchdowns.
