An independent feature film called “The Plateau” is shooting in Kelowna from April 11-30. It’s being shot locally by Production Manager Iain Hittel.
“We need crew,” says Jon Summerland, Okanagan Film Commissioner.
Beyond the movies already scheduled to begin production, several more projects are in discussion.
“If you have ever wanted to work in the movies in the Okanagan, email your resume to info@okanaganfilm.com,” says Summerland.
A workshop for aspiring filmmakers is also coming to the Okanagan. Okanagan Film Fundamentals will be held at the Cove Lakeside in West Kelowna from March 3-6.
