QUEBEC CITY – Quebec Finance Minister Carlos Leitao will table the provincial budget on March 17.
The 2016-17 budget will come down five days before federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau delivers his.
Leitao told reporters in Quebec City Thursday he expects a balanced budget.
He said any eventual surplus would go to reducing the province’s massive debt.
