Evacuation orders have been issued to 17 residences on Farrell Street, where the city will be installing 900 meters of temporary diking. Paddlewheel Park has also been closed.

All residents in the affected flood areas are asked to register by calling 250-561-7600. Prince George City Hall Annex has been designated as the reception centre.

Meanwhile, city officials are reminding residents to stay well back from the river banks due to the possibility of hidden erosion and not engage in recreational activities on the rivers.
