Sgt. Peter Thiessen with the B.C. RCMP said they have yet to establish if all of cat deaths were the direct result of human activity and not a natural predator.

The RCMP’s Behavioral Science Group that profiles and tracks deviant and unusual criminal behaviour is also involved in the investigation. Forensic services are at work on this case to help determine if human DNA can be recovered. Meanwhile, the veterinarian is performing necropsies to determine the exact cause of death.

Anyone with any information regarding these cat deaths are asked to contact SPCA Cst. Eilleen Drever at 604-575-2249. If you have any other information, or enquiries, you can contact Ridge Meadows RCMP at 604-463-6251, or Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
