A 147-kilometre stretch of Highway One between Revelstoke and Golden has been closed because of a mudslide.
The highway is closed in both directions after the slide struck in Glacier Park, about 60 kilometres west of Golden.

Drive BC says ongoing mudflow and heavy rainfall have hampered efforts to clear the highway, and the time of reopening has been pushed to noon on Thursday.
Heavy rains have pelted the region and more are in the forecast.
