TORONTO – Police have confirmed an elderly woman struck by a car in north Toronto Saturday has died in hospital.
Paramedics said the 72-year-old pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Finch Avenue and Tobermory Drive around 10:45 Saturday morning.
The woman was rushed to hospital, where she died of her injuries.

The victim has not been identified at this time.
The collision scene is currently closed as police investigate.
