Camera catches Winnipeg Jets’ captain putting smile on young fan’s face during practice

WINNIPEG — During practice on Friday, Winnipeg Jets’ captain Andrew Ladd attempted to perform a good deed but the recipient didn’t immediately understand the gesture.

In the video that Global videographer Jeremy Desrochers shot, you can see Ladd make multiple efforts to flip a puck over the boards to a young boy watching practice. Eventually the captain gets the puck over the boards and to the waiting fan.

When the boy notices that Ladd’s puck got over the boards he adorably attempts to return it to its owner.
