Calgary massage therapist Brad McLellan now facing 8 counts of sexual assault

CALGARY – A Calgary massage therapist accused of sexually assaulting former clients is now facing even more charges after additional women came forward with allegations of abuse.

Brad McLellan was originally charged with sexual assault in mid-December 2015 after a 25-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted by her massage therapist while visiting the Centennial Wellness Clinic.

A month later, police announced McLellan was facing three additional charges after more complainants had come forward.

On Friday, police confirmed to Global News even more women had come forward with allegations of abuse, although they wouldn’t say how many.

McLellan is now facing a total of eight counts of sexual abuse.

The charges were formally laid on Friday.
