RCMP ask public to help search for missing, possibly murdered, Prince Albert man

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – RCMP are now asking residents near Prince Albert, Sask. to be on the lookout for Troy Napope.

Due to new information, investigators are asking anyone living within a 10 kilometre area west of the Saskatchewan Federal Penitentiary in Prince Albert to search their property and other outer buildings.

Napope, 23, was last seen at a house party in Prince Albert on May 27/28, 2015.

His burned out car was found north of the city, in the area of the Whitfield Road, on the morning of May 28, 2015.

In November, police announced they believed Napope was the victim of foul play and were now treating his disappearance as a homicide.

The RCMP Major Crime Unit North conducted a specialized search north of Prince Albert in January, near where Napope’s car was found, but neither Napope or his remains were located.
