Court heard Gladue and the woman were in a truck that got stuck on the O’Chiese reserve near Rocky Mountain House in July 2013.

The 27-year-old woman testified that she was sleeping in the truck and woke to find Gladue trying to take her pants off.

She said he hit her with an object, breaking her jaw, and she ran into the woods but became disoriented.
