Fans of the television characters Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross can get a taste of what it’s like to lounge around as a group of ‘Friends’ when the sitcom’s iconic Central Perk coffee shop opens a pop-up location in Toronto this summer.

The announcement comes a week after a Seinfeld-themed pop-up bar is scheduled to open in July.

“Want to take selfies with the famous orange couch? Or order a coffee from our baristas all named Gunther? We will have pastries, donuts and coffees inspired by your favourite Friend’s characters and their legendary personalities,” said a Facebook page.

More than 34,000 Facebook fans have said they’re interested in attending the Friends Central Perk Pop-Up Shop scheduled for June 24.

Activities for the event include renditions of Phoebe’s Smelly Cat song, a ‘How you doin?’ contest to find out Toronto’s Ladies Man, and prizes to those who dress up as the show’s main characters.
