“This is a no experience required event.  It seems scary until you get there and then you realize this is about having fun and exploring your creative side.”

In Winnipeg there are about 84 public events each month.

“We have about 13 different venues right now, and most of them host weekly or multiple times per week and we are in all different parts of the city.” Brownrigg explained.

Brownrigg said for many the takeaway is a beautiful piece of art.

“Seeing people surprise themselves, I think that creativitiy is part of our overall health as human beings.”  Brownrigg added, “We’re taught to be creative but at some point we are told to only do art if we’re really good at it but that’s not the case and people leave feeling very therapeutic.”
