One dead after two-car crash in Hamilton, Ont.

HAMILTON, Ont.  – One person is dead after a crash outside a Hamilton GO Transit station Sunday afternoon.

Hamilton police received a call just after 3 p.m. regarding a two-car collision at the station entrance on James Street South and Hunter Street West.

Paramedics say a tour bus was turning into the station when it struck a Volkswagen hatchback. The car sustained significant damage and the driver showed no vital signs, paramedics told Global News.

The victim has not been identified.

No  other injuries were reported.
