WINNIPEG — The Morrissette family is asking for the public’s help after their 13-year-old son was thrown into a dumpster after being assaulted.
Jean-Micheal Morrissette has an intellectual disability and on January 13, police say he was assaulted by two men while walking home from school.
They then allegedly threw him into a dumpster on the 700 block of Flora Avenue. Morrissette did not suffer serious injuries but remained in the dumpster for four hours before being found by an area resident.
“Our whole family’s life has been changed,” said Jean-Micheal’s father John.
