Coquitlam Centre bus loop was shut down for several hours Friday afternoon due to a hazmat incident. A bus driver and a passenger reportedly fell ill while on a bus, but RCMP tested the bus and said they found no hazmat.

The incident was reported just after noon, and the loop reopened around 5:15 p.m.
All roads surrounding the scene remained open during the incident.
