A flock of sheep helped New Zealand police end a 90 minute car pursuit in central Otago on Friday.

The flock was being moved across a road by a farmer forcing the stolen car to come to a halt.

According to a sergeant from Queenstown police, the pursuit started around 8:00 a.m. local time after the car, which was speeding and had no number plates, failed to stop.
