REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced quarterback Darian Durant has agreed to a new contract for the 2016 season.
Durant will enter his 11th season with the Riders after signing with the team as a free agent in 2006. The 33-year-old pivot will enter this season with 24,688 passing yards and 135 touchdown passes, which puts him third among Riders all-time leaders.
Durant has been a west division all-star in 2009 and 2013. He has also won the 2007 and 2013 grey Cup with the Riders.
