A youth pastor from Colwood, B.C. has been charged with sexual exploitation after allegedly getting involved in an inappropriate sexual relationship with a teenage girl.
Thirty-three-year-old Ira Parmenter was a youth pastor with the Colwood Pentecostal Church between 2003 and 2009.

Police say the mother of the girl contacted them about the relationship, which is alleged to have taken place between July 2007 and November 2008.
The girl was 16 years old when it started, and the Parmenter was 28 years old.
He was arrested in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland last week, and is due to appear in court in June.
Police say they do not have reports of any other victims, but they are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
