A fatal crash in Salmon Arm Monday afternoon claimed the life of an 80-year-old woman.
The woman was driving on Highway 97B just south of the Trans Canada Highway when she left the road and hit a tree.

The 80-year-old, the only person in the vehicle, died on scene.
Police say road conditions were good at the time of the crash. The RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating.
