Habs stars Pacioretty, Desharnais delight fans in l’Île Perrot

L’ÎLE PERROT – There was a huge lineup outside the Groupe Autoforce dealership in l’Île Perrot on Sunday.

And while some in the queue were there to talk cars, most were anxiously waiting for a chance to meet Habs captain Max Pacioretty and star centre David Desharnais.

The duo greeted hockey fans big and small, signed autographs and posed for pictures– and of course, talked hockey.

“I want to win games,” Pacioretty said. “We’ve put together some good games as of late.”

But he conceded that the team needs to get into the right mindset.

Ultimately though, today wasn’t about what happens out on the ice, it was about the people in the seats.

“I like getting out and seeing all the fans,” he said.
