A New York City good Samaritan actually gave the shirt off his back to a homeless man while riding on a Manhattan subway train.
In cellphone video taken by a subway passenger, Lazaro Nolasco, the man can be seen sitting on the train without a shirt when the commuter spotted him. He then proceeded to take off his shirt and help the homeless man put it on.
But the charity doesn’t end there; the commuter also gave the homeless man his hat.

Nolasco posted the video to Facebook and has since went viral with over 9 million views.
“The guy did a good deed, so I wanted to record it,” Nolasco told The New York Daily News. “I would tell him, ‘God bless him.’ That was thoughtful.”
As the video ends, the homeless man can be seen wiping a tear from his eye after the kind stranger walks away.
