Kelowna RCMP looking for owner of fire destroyed vehicle

KELOWNA – Police are trying to identify the owner of torched vehicle discovered Friday morning in Kelowna.

The scorched hulk of what appears to be an older model SUV was found at the end of Munson Road.

The extreme damage is hindering the investigation.

“At this time, we are unable to confirm whether the vehicle was stolen or not,” says Cst. Jesse O’Donaghey. “Investigators who specialize in locating hidden Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) on vehicles will be asked to examine the vehicle.”
