UPDATE: Deputy Fire Chief Dave Spalding says a filter inside a piece of equipment caught on fire and crews quickly knocked down the blaze.
There was limited damage and the company was back up and running within a couple of hours.

PENTICTON — A Penticton company that sells fireplaces almost went up in flames early Wednesday morning.

Fire broke out at Blaze King on Commercial Way shortly before 6:30 a.m.

Workers on site managed to contain the flames as Penticton fire crews arrived.
