At around 11 p.m., Rocky View Fire officials responded to a property north of Country Hills Blvd. N.E. along Range Road 285.
Crews arrived to find smoke coming from the home and quickly put out a fire inside.
The flames were contained to one of the bedrooms, but damage to the room is significant.
