Man airlifted to hospital after crash in Leduc County

LEDUC COUNTY – One man has been taken to hospital by STARS air ambulance after a collision in Leduc County.

The crash at Township 510 and Range Road 224 east of Beaumont was reported to police shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Police received the initial call from a passerby and there were no other vehicles found at the scene.

The truck could be seen in the ditch with major damage to the front and rear ends.

The male driver was the lone occupant.

STARS spokesperson Fatima Khawaja said crews were called to the single vehicle rollover just before 9:30 a.m.

Khawaja said a 31-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.
