HALIFAX – A 66-year-old man has been ticketed after being struck by a car on Herring Cove Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the man was crossing the street, but was not in a crosswalk.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police gave the man a ticket for moving into the path of a vehicle when impractical for the vehicle to stop.
