MONTREAL – A man has died after an early-morning stabbing outside a restaurant on Sainte-Catherine Street.
Police were called to the corner of Fort and Sainte-Catherine streets around 2:35 a.m. Friday.

They found a man unconscious and covered in blood.
He’d been stabbed by an unknown assailant.
He was taken to hospital in cardiac arrest, and later died.
The assailant fled before police arrived on the scene.
