WINNIPEG — The blast of winter is creating bumper to bumper traffic through downtown Winnipeg.

Vehicles are crawling along several of the routes out of the core, including Portage Avenue and Main Street.
One Global News viewer said it took 20 minutes for the bus she was on to travel from Fort Street to the Norwood Bridge.
Visibility is also reduced because of the falling snow.
