WINNIPEG — An afternoon fire Thursday closed down part of St.Boniface to traffic.
There was a blaze that sparked at a metal shredding facility in the St.Boniface area on Thursday afternoon. According to CJOB Traffic, the fire was located on Messier Street and roads in the area were closed to motorists.
Seine River Bonivital Residents Association sent Global News these photos of the metal shredding facility fire Thursday evening.
There is no word on what caused the blaze.
No word on injuries or the cost of damage at this time.
