CALGARY – A Calgary mom has covered up a tattoo of her daughter with a tattoo of her son, after Ace Peace came out as transgender to his family almost a year ago.
Ace didn’t like his mom’s original tattoo, because it didn’t represent his true gender identity.
In a symbolic gesture, Ace’s mom surprised her son with the tattoo transformation.
The original ink had a little girl with pigtails in a dress and a bow; the new tattoo replaces the bow with a slingshot and the dress with a T-shirt and shorts. The pigtails are gone.
