AULAC, NB – A major fire destroyed a truck repair garage in Aulac this morning.
Officials say the fire broke out around 10 a.m. at the Haylock Truck and Trailer Garage.
Thick, black smoke and flames could be seen leaping from the building from several kilometres away.
Several fire crews responded to the fire from the neighbouring communities, including Point de Bute, Sackville, Amherst and Port Elgin.

The garage was completely destroyed along with a school bus that was sitting next to the building.
There were no injuries reported.
