Here are the latest election results for Calgary ridings:
Calgary-Acadia:
Calgary-Bow:
Calgary-Buffalo:
This is the safest Liberal seat in Calgary, held by Kent Hehr since 2008. If the left-leaning, anti-Wildrose vote in bleeds to the PCs, however, he might be in trouble.
Calgary-Cross:
Calgary-Currie:
Alberta Party MLA Dave Taylor currently holds this riding and has decided not to seek re-election. Six candidates are vying to replace him, and it’s hard to say which way voters will go, since their former MLA was elected as a Liberal, sat for a time as an independent and eventually joined the Alberta Party. A slight boundary change may favour the PC candidate.
Calgary-East:
Calgary-Elbow:
This is the riding of the Progressive Conservative Leader, Premier Alison Redford. She was first elected in 2008, defeating the Liberal candidate by a little over 300 votes, with the Wildrose candidate a distant third. This election’s Wildrose candidate will likely make a better showing.
Calgary-Fish Creek:
Calgary-Foothills:
Calgary-Fort:
Calgary Glenmore:
Wildrose candidate Paul Hinman picked up this traditionally PC riding in a 2009 by-election. The former Wildrose Alliance leader is running again this election. Was he elected because voters were dissatisfied with PC Premier Ed Stelmach, or did it indicate a shift towards the Wildrose?
Calgary-Greenway:
PC minister Manmeet Bhullar is running for re-election in this northeast Calgary riding. He’s facing a challenge from controversial Wildrose candidate and church minister Ron Leech, who recently suggested in a debate that he would have an advantage in representing this multicultural riding because he’s white.
Calgary-Hawkwood:
This is one of two additional ridings created in Calgary under the 2010 boundary distribution. If Wildrose candidate David Yagger wins and his party forms government, he is expected to serve as energy minister.

Calgary-Lougheed:
Calgary-Mackay-Nose Hill:
Calgary-McCall:
Calgary-Mountain View:
This riding is a bit of a bellwether for the provincial Liberals. David Swann, the former Liberal leader, is seeking a third term. If he doesn’t get it, it will likely mean that the Liberals will be shut out in Southern Alberta.
Calgary-North West:
Calgary-Northern Hills:
Calgary-Shaw:
Calgary-South East:
Calgary-Varsity:
Calgary-West:
PC MLA Ron Liepert is not seeking re-election. There was controversy over the nomination process to replace him as the Tory candidate. Shiraz Sharrif initially won, but the party ordered a second vote after finding evidence of irregularities.
