CALGARY – A woman was killed and a man is in serious condition after a crash that happened at around 9:20 p.m., south of Calgary Saturday night, on Highway 7 near Black Diamond.
Mounties said initial reports were of a car swerving in and out of its lane.
Minutes later, they said they received a call about a head-on collision involving the car and a minivan.
The 35-year-old woman in the car was declared dead at the scene.
The man behind the wheel of the minivan was airlifted to hospital by STARS.
Two other passengers were also transported to hospital in stable condition.
RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
