CALGARY – A man in his 50’s was sent to hospital after a single vehicle rollover that happened on Stoney Trail and McKnight Boulevard N.E. at around 1:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
He was transported to Foothills Hospital in serious, non-life threatening condition.
The man was traveling Southbound on Stoney Trail when his vehicle veered into the meridian then cleared all of the Northbound lanes and hit the embankment on the other side, before coming to a stop in a field nearby.

Miraculously, no other people were injured and no other vehicles were hit in the crash.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
Both Northbound and Southbound lanes on Stoney Trail and McKnight Boulevard N.E. were closed for roughly an hour.
